Reviewme.com - A Blog Money Earner
May 1, 2007 |
Ever heard of this site? Well, before this review, I haven’t really paid much attention to it. I was reminded that people are truly ingenious. People have continually found ways to make money. But this isn’t always a bad thing, this site proves that men are driven by profits to be creative and adaptive to the ever-fast-paced-changing world.
This site caters to advertisers and bloggers, bringing numerous benefits to both parties and this is how it works; the site allows registered advertisers to choose registered bloggers to review their goods and services, with a fee of course. And as for bloggers, they also have the freedom to choose the sites, which they want to review. And get this, registration is free! Reviewme.com lists the approved bloggers’ sites and the advertisers have the option to choose from what reviewme.com calls the ‘marketplace’. I gave it a little test registration and the free account is also hassle-free. Advertisers simply have to enter their name, e-mail address and a password and that’s it. Advertisers can already get started. Bloggers, on the other hand have a longer page to fill-out, but is nonetheless simple and easy. Bloggers from any part of the globe can register, entering their name, e-mail address, a password, a confirmation of being 14 years old and above and have the option of being paid through paypal or checks and of course the necessary information for the transaction. The fees, I found, are minimal. Advertisers pay $40 per review at a minimum and bloggers get paid $20 to $200 per review they post in their site.
With the above information, I think reviewme.com will start a trend in the advertising realm. It is definitely an effective marketing strategy and a quick, easy and not to mention, cheap way to advertise.
Websites are jam-packed with companies that pay sites to post their ads, but guess what? People don’t read those sites. Thus, it is a waste of money, effort and time for the advertisers. But reviewme.com makes use of blog entries, reviews by real people, not write-ups of the advertisers, thus, the testimonials are real, and because blog entries are not ads, meaning they look different and ‘more reader-friendly’ than ads, more consumers get to know the products and services. Speaking of blog entries… This craze of reading and writing just about anything under the sun has been growing and making use of it as a vehicle to advertise goods and services is so strategically effective. I am sure, the advertisers will have plenty of positive feedback. To add to this sentiment, advertisers have the advantage of choosing whom to write reviews about their merchandise. Plus, this method of advertising is cheaper than hiring ad-writers and paying sites to post their ads, a sure money saver and money earner!
As for bloggers, obviously, their first benefit is the pay. A minimum of $20 is not bad for a single review. Registration is free, so they have nothing to lose.
I am a blogger and we bloggers have only one thing in common, we love to write. I for one, have the passion for writing and this developed my passion for reading as well, and what’s amazing about reviewme.com is that it pays us, bloggers to do what we love to do. We do not just get paid to write reviews, which we have the liberty to choose who to write for, we help the advertisers make profits and we raise awareness, helping consumers widen their options. The site does not only promote the items of the advertisers, but also the skills and credibility of the bloggers. The main reason why most bloggers write entries online is because they want their voices to be heard, or their entries to be read, and this site helps them by “advertising†their entries.
All-in-all, this site offers a win-win situation for both advertisers and bloggers, so if you’ve just heard of this site, I highly recommend it, go visit it at www.reviewme.com, you have nothing to lose. (I believe that’s $20 for this review!)
