Boxbe - Maybe a Good Spam Solution

A possible way to make spammers pay to reach you. Not that they will but it might be worth a try. A San Francisco based company allowing you to send emails for free but others to pay you for sending you an email. If its friends or people you know you can put them on an approved list and they can send you email. Others you can set for a choice or set a price and they will need to pay you before they can reach you. You share a portion with Boxbe. It works with your existing email address and inbox.

    Thanks for the mention on your blog

    I think that you’ve hit it when you said spammers won’t pay, but many lump in legitimate marketers with people who send unsolicited bulk email, ie spammers.

    Legitimate marketers already do pay to reach consumers, we’d like the consumer to be able to pocket some of that money. A great side effect of this is that spammers are largely removed from your inbox as a result.
